Activity List

Hop on a boat and set off to spot some whales! Although not guaranteed, it is highly likely to spot sperm whales off Dominica’s shores at any time of the year.

Set off on a tranquil rowboat ride up a quiet jungle-like river that will transport you to a hidden bush bar nestled in the middle of the rainforest.

Dive into the water for your bubbly snorkel experience! Grab a tropical beverage or a local beer and relax on the beach while admiring the distant view of the southern tip of the island!

Scramble over boulders and across the river for your up-close view of the Mother Falls at 75 ft. and Father Falls at 125 ft.

Bask in the warm sulfur water delivered straight from the geothermal activity of the rainforest mountains while sipping on some locally made rum & beer.

Located in a mountainous rainforest setting, a natural rock slide awaits for your swimming enjoyment.

Tour a chocolate factory and discover the bean to bar processes that locally harvested cacao beans go through to become a delicious bar of chocolate. Sample the many different flavors available, such as Ginger, Mint, Dark, and even Lemongrass after your tour.

As you travel through the north of the island, stop to check out why this beach is claimed to be one of the best on Dominica.

Set as a UNESCO world heritage site, visit the restored buildings that used to serve as the garrison for colonial troops as they took Dominica from the Caribs. This area also served as a point for the slave revolt of 1802 which in turn led to the freeing of African slave soldiers in 1807, not just in Dominica but throughout the whole British Empire.

Cross a few streams and get a little muddy as you enjoy an invigorating hike through the heart of the rainforest, an impressive waterfall awaits your arrival—jump In!

Take a short stroll through the rainforest of Morne Trois Piton National Park as you anticipate your refreshing dip in an awe-inspiring natural pool fed by a 40 ft. waterfall.

Stare out onto the serene ocean as you ride bareback on your horse through Prince Rupert Bay.

Join Dominican canyoning professionals on this exciting adventure. These friendly, expert guides will help you climb and twist your way through the winding gorges of Dominica while jumping through waterfalls and splashing into rivers in an amazing rainforest setting.

Check out this grey/black sand beach, grab a tropical beverage or a local beer, and stroll into the water but don’t forget your water shoes, it’s often a little rocky on your way out to swim!

Swim in a natural cave, look up at the filtered light trickling into the cave through the canopy of the rainforest above as you swim to the waterfall inside.

Lounge around on a silver sand beach & cool off in the clear Caribbean salty water.

A free day to yourself to explore your surroundings on your own terms and at your leisure. Sleep late, wake up early, hop on a local bus, eat all day, or schedule an activity that interests you that may not be on the itinerary—the choice is yours!

There are 14 segments through the Waitukubuli cross-island adventure. On this tour, Segment 5 is the one you will have the pleasure of hiking! Bring your hiking feet and prepare to get muddy!
